Two days on the Santa Giulia hillside with fifteen of Italy’s most established wedding planners. A retreat created by Mariane Vitoria Garcia to present the Tigullio as a destination wedding venue.
Two autumn days. Fifteen of Italy’s most established wedding planners. Villa Riviera Resort welcomed them for a retreat created and organised by Mariane Vitoria Garcia, the resort’s events director, founder and CEO of Blooming Eventi in Lavagna and creator of the Wedding Industry Masterclass format.
The estate, seen through a couple’s eyes
A full site visit, from the park to the villas. Then the estate experienced the way couples and their guests experience it: a dinner and a party devoted to local cuisine. The programme also took the group beyond the resort, through the experiences of the Tigullio, and closed with a stay to discover everything the Riviera has to offer.
The Tigullio as a destination wedding venue
The aim: to grow the Tigullio alongside established destinations such as the Amalfi Coast and Lake Como. And to place Villa Riviera Resort among the reference venues for high-profile weddings, between Portofino and the Cinque Terre.
“The authentic beauty of these places has nothing to envy in more celebrated destinations”
Mariane Vitoria Garcia
